Purebred Icelandic

Owning this horse can almost be called fate. When I first met Baldur, my intentions were to have a contemporary horse while I was searching for other horses to ride. But of course, I couldn’t help but fall in love with him.

Baldur is a feisty little fellow, with a weird, but adorable personality. Did you know he grunts? He is the kind of horse who will demand a treat, but will put his tail between his legs when told off. He is the most pure soul I have ever known, so gentle, kind and careful. He can light up the darkest of days.

Energy is something that seldom lacks in Baldur. He is never hard to ask for more speed, but slowing down is another question. This horse tries his best and loves being rewarded for good work.

Baldur was imported from Iceland to Norway in 2012, and he had several owners before I bought him in 2015. He was a horse that not many people could understand, but once you get to know his ways, he is the most darling creature.
